Appearance: To the world at large Ed looks like your typical young woman in her early 20's with bright red hair (was a blonde for a few months on a lark) which she grew out post her time on the Bebop and a habit towards dressing like a tech to blend into wherever she is (currently partial to jeans, funky tees with long sleeved shirts tossed over them and either boots or sneakers since she's grown up in terms of her wardrobe. But the magic closet will be mean and include bike pants and tank tops.). She always has a smile on her face and always has either her main computer, a laptop nicknamed Tomato or the smaller version of Tomato she built herself. She also has a small silver pin in the shape of a smiley face, which is also her call sign, on her laptop case or backpack.

In the years since the events of the anime Edward has still been unable to locate any links to her past and ends up going into bounty hunting as well once she finally finished her schooling (using her old alias of Edward Tivrusky when needed). But even now she is usually behind the scenes as a hacker, still going under her screen name of Radical Edward (easily making people think its a man behind the laptop, which has caused its share of moments both scary and funny). Over the last few years she has been a huge part of teams that have brought down drug king pins and crime lords, she was also one of several who was finally able to bring down the Red Dragons once and for all (partly out of a need to get revenge for Spike).
Over the last few years post Bebop she has also been trying to locate her old friends from the Bebop since to be honest they were pretty much all she had for family (she can't explain it but is this ache in her soul that just won't go away). She has gotten close to finding Faye and Jet but no word on Spike minus a few rumors along her travels. She joins the hunt against the Red Dragons after hearings rumors (but never being able to confirm anything) that Spike had indeed died after she left the ship at Vicious's hand. After that she keeps chugging along, mostly working on her own but with occasional hook ups into crews when she's needing to be social.
She somehow landed in Ten Forward thanks to Q grabbing her after a freelance hacking job on Mars while in transit to Ganymede (along with tracking a rumor about Spike maybe being on the planet) and well cue one very confused little computer geek. Her scooter also crashes into a column in the process but beyond some minor damage to her scooter she's unharmed (just a few bruises and a very mild concussion). But Edward is going to see this as simply a detour leading into another adventure.
Its just instead of being back in her proper time period she's now in a new adventure on Medietas.
This version of Edward also follows a popular theory within the fandom of her being ADHD but never properly diagnosed.
Personality: Hyper computer geek anyone? Toss in some sass, a wicked sense of humor and a ready smile and you have Edward in a nutshell. She's basically the goofy oddball with a heart.
But even a smart girl does have a flew kinks in the software (as she would say): Edward's kinks being her ADHD (as per the fandom theory) and the fact she can be seen as a little nutty by others (mostly due to her moments of speaking in the 3rd person and sometimes out there statements). Beyond her not being the most tidy in terms of her gear bag and tool belt along with being semi forgetful she's been able to keep her illness in check and under wraps, most would think of her problems as mere quirks. But put her in front of a computer and she becomes one of the meanest hackers in the business. After all, in her time she's basically unbeatable.
There's also her habit of going blonde every so often (she lets people think its for fun but she's also done it for small undercover stints) but most would find it just her being a normal young woman in her early 20s.
But she has a side that is just well hidden. That side being a young woman who wishes for a family since she misses that aspect of being on the Bebop the most. But she is the type to make fast friends and if she trusts someone enough she thinks of them as her family. Otherwise at the moment while she appears to be a vibrant young woman she also feels adrift since this is her second round of being dumped into a world not her own.
But as she would say,"I'm just Ed, bugs in the software and all".
Powers/Abilities/Talents: No powers but by her times standard is an unbeatable hacker. She's also a computer genius and is basically self taught. She's also talented at fixing electronics due to doing all her own computer repairs on the fly while on jobs.
AU/CR AU Addendum: During the 5 or so months she spent in Ten Forward Edward was properly diagnosed as being ADHD but had not at that time started treatment (it was in progress). She had made friends and was looking into picking up her work as a bounty hunter as a more freelance basis. The game closed before much more could be done in terms of CR but I would love to explore more of what makes her tick both in front of and away from the computer.
What 4 items would you like your character to have with them on the island during their stay? Motor scooter, computer (her main laptop nicknamed Tomato), tool kit (includes her VR goggles) and Ein the Welsh Corgi. She'll have on arrival her backpack which contains woolongs (her time's money), more tools, mini Tomato (a smaller laptop she built herself), a silver smiley face pin pinned to the backpack, Spike's lighter, a Data PADD from her time in Ten Forward and a small TV she uses to track bounties.
